On June 9, 2024, SASO published a circular providing an update to a previous circular published on December 6, 2020. The new circular allows approved bodies to issue certificates of conformity (COC) for Self Ballasted LED Lamp products under the HS Code 1853952000002 after the importer has demonstrated that it meets are all requirements including the Technical Regulation for Energy Efficiency.
